Special Talents

This one is a bit tricky for me, because I don’t believe I have any special talent but I would give it a try. I think that my talent would be my memory, and I know it sounds weird but let me explain why. Some people have what it’s called “Photographic Memory”, in very simple worlds people who have this kind of memory can remember things they see as a picture in their mind. There are different levels of this ability and when I was a child my school teacher discovered I had this kind of memory. I remember that like in 4 or 5 grade we took a test to see what kind of abilities you had, for example they measured your ability with numbers, logical sequences, 3d imagination, etc. One of this test had a train full with white dots, and in the next page some of that dots were colored black. We had like 2 or 3 minutes to try and memorize the most we can and then color the dots in the first train. The thing Is that when the results came it showed that I had 100% in that test, so my teacher made me do another similar test because he couldn’t believe I had all of them right. I ended up doing this test like 5 or 6 times and all the times I got all of them right. I didn’t know I had this kind of ability but when they told me I started to think in my daily life and it is true, for example in bedroom I have a collection of figures, and when I was a child and my mother move one of them just a little to clean, I couldn’t sleep because I knew something was wrong with my room, so I used to close my eyes and start to think in my bed, then I opened them really quick and spot the place that didn’t match with the picture on my brain.

Postgraduate Studies

Besides studying to be a chef I would like to study some other languages especially German and Chinese. I’m not a good student, I mean I get good grades and stuff but I have always dislike studding, that’s actually one of the reasons I’m studding architecture, you have to make stuff with your hands more than studding from a book, but with other languages I actually enjoy to sit and start learning them. I would like to learn German because people always say that is one if not the most difficult language to learn, so a challenge? Bring it, I live for this stuff. And Chinese because after English it’s the most used in business area. Of course, I would like to go the countries and learn there the language, it would be the dream, but if that’s not the case I would take courses here in Chile. I personally like to go to classes because online classes do not work for me, I tend to distract a lot if I have a computer in front of me, because as you know I’m some kind of nerdy video game addict. I honestly don’t know anything about how much it would cost me to learn this languages, but I’m sure It would be fun and hopefully I don’t stop there and start later to learn some other languages.

Future Job

In my future I see myself as a Chef, and I know I always talk about this in my videos or blogs but it’s the thing I want to do. I imagine working on my own restaurant placed at the beach I used to go when I was a child. I know the effort it requires to be a popular chef and to have an own restaurant so in my early stages of working I would like to travel a lot and learn from others cultures, even if I must wash dishes for years and years. About the salary, I’m not that worry because my life plan has always been the same, finish my studies as an architecture and start working some time in that area to earn some money. Then I would take some courses of cooking and start my journey in this awesome world that is the culinary. After I learn the necessary I would go to the beach I talked about earlier and as an architecture create my own restaurant and start working as leading chef there. It would be an honor to cook for the people who watch me as a grow up and develop myself as an adult, so if I could cook for them in the beach it would be my way to thank them for everything they teach me when I was younger.
